LibOCon (LibreOffice Conference 2018) is the annual LibreOffice Conference where you can meet other LibreOffice users, supporters and developers! Every year different communities around the world host the LibreOffice Conference, this year it is hosted by Open Labs Hackerspace the local community in Tirana, Albania who promotes and support Free and Open Source Initiatives.
Conferences would be impossible to pull of without the help of volunteers, and LibOCon is no exception. Volunteers help with all kind of activities during the event: Registration of participants, assisting speakers and participants, keeping social media channels up to date, taking photos for twitter, Facebook, distributing information at the event ect. We will have at least 2 meetings to explain your responsibilities in detail.
Important: please try to apply only if you can commit to help us out! This will ensure a great experience for the organizing team and the participants alike.

Being a volunteer means that you will be closer to the organizing team and the speakers, but you will miss some of the workshops or presentations during the event (as a multi-track conference, this is unsurprising anyway).
Also due to a limited budget, we are not able to sponsor travel or accommodation for volunteers.
